Whitefish Rentals By Owner allows visitors to the area to find great privately owned homes for their Colorado ski vacation. Visitors can get very detailed descriptions of actual properties. Our properties are not typical "rental properties" - they're all privately owned homes and condos whose owners elect to allow guests to stay in their homes when they're not staying there themselves.
Guests can rent directly from the property owners, and when this is the case, payment is made directly to the owner - with the owners serving as the "host." We've found that guests and owners enjoy the experience of having direct communication and the personal connection that goes along with it. Some owners choose to have a professional, full service management company handle everything. When this is the case, payment is made to the owner indirectly, and the management company serves as the "host." Whichever is the case for any given property, we're here to ensure that you find the right property for your needs!
By providing detailed photographs of each room, views, features and amenities - guests get a very good understanding of where they'll be staying. We believe in "No Surprises". We photograph every home and ensure that the home is actually owned by the home owner and is as represented (or we’ve partnered with licensed property managers to ensure the same).

You’ll find that our web site has been designed to allow visitors to Search and Browse through the properties based on the number of bedrooms, locations and features that are important to you. Our “Favorites” feature allows you to select and compare your favorite homes and condos.

We have a staff of Vacation Rental Specialists that are here to answer your questions and help you find the right property for your vacation from 8:00 am - 8:00 pm 365 days per year (Mountain Time). Once we've found the right home for you- we'll finalize the terms & details and send an agreement to both the guest and the home owner.

Payment is made directly to the home owner (including all applicable taxes).

The home owner will provide guests with all of the information needed to enjoy their home (directions, keys, etc).
